Prerequisites

Good examples are sports coaches and exercise professionals, outdoor practitioners, child care experts, etc. You must be credible and experienced within your chosen field, be passionate about it, and keen to make a real difference by delivering quality training, that genuinely saves lives, within that sector

Topics

The week includes:

- A First Aid at Work Qualification

- A L3 Award in Training and Assessing First Aid Qualifications

- Training Delivery Practice Sessions

- First Aid industry knowledge

- Requirements for public insurances, Quality Assurance and First Aid certification


Candidates should be prepared to prepare, deliver sessions and evaluate each other. These sessions will be based around the First Aid at Work syllabus, giving you a chance to start to hone your skills as a first aid trainer.
