Description
Unfortunately, accidents happen in most places, including care homes for both the elderly and other people in need of professional care and support throughout their lives. People can fall ill whilst in the dining room, recreation room, during group activities, or staff can encounter a range of accidents (to residents or colleagues) in other common areas or even burns in the kitchen. Our course will equip you to deal with such situations confidently.
The course covers all topics required in the standard Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course plus additional content related to incidents occurring in the care sector. Our courses are very practical, and we will use examples and scenarios relating to the relevant setting throughout (in the recreation room, dining room, resident bedrooms, other common areas, or in the kitchen).
