2 Day Sports First Aid Course

Our 16 Hour First Aid for Sports Coaches and Exercise Professionals course (or FASCEP course) is perfect for you if you are a team or contact sports coach. It’s also ideal for fitness and exercise professionals training in the outdoors or doing impact based training, such as CrossFit.

This course meet the requirements of the SYFA Club Licensing.

Scottish Youth Football Association Club Licensing requires that clubs have at least 1 person on the touchline with SYFA Approved First Aid training, where a Chartered Physiotherapist is not present.

If this course seems more than you need then our 1 Day Sports First Aid Course might be more suitable. This 7 Hour First Aid for Sports Coaches and Exercise Professionals course is for many practitioners and coaches of low impact sports.

What’s on the course?

About the Course

While our 1 Day First Aid for Sports Coaches and Exercise Professionals takes you through the basics of sports first aid, this 2-day course goes a lot further and covers a multitude of common injuries too.

It will equip you with the knowledge and skills to make a confident and safe ‘return to play’ decision.

Our courses are all taught by expert qualified trainers and this course is specifically designed for sports.

The course is practical and scenario-based and covers leg injury, head and spinal injury management plus CPR & AED use for adults and children.

This course also includes an outdoor component to ensure the extra risks and first aid requirements likely to be encountered in outdoor activity have been thoroughly addressed.

Practicing the techniques outside will really help you build confidence in your skills, and understand the decision making process more thoroughly.
