Federation of First Aid Training Organisations

You may have noticed that our website header contains the Federation of First Aid Training Organisations’ logo – shown in the image on the left.

We became members of the Federation of First Aid Training Organisations (FOFATO) at the start of January 2019.  We chose to join in order to give our clients yet more confidence in the standards that we adhere to.  As well as to help further the aims of FOFATO where we can.

FOFATO is a network of around 400 training providers and is recognised by the HSE as a main Consultative Body for the industry. It works to provide a powerful voice on behalf of the first aid training industry.  It also ensures the high standards of training by its members.  An independent organisation, FOFATO is not affiliated to any Awarding Organisation or Body, nor does it directly offer any form of training.  This means there is no chance of a conflict of interest with its members.

All members of FOFATO are checked for Due Diligence and Competence before being accepted, and then annually thereafter. Employers can contact FOFATO to confirm this has taken place, giving more confidence in their choice of provider. We are really pleased to be members of FOFATO.  We hope to be an active and valuable member of the organisation.  

Alongside our other ISO certifications – 9001, 45001 and 14001 – plus membership of the Association of First Aid Providers, we hope that this new initiative will give our clients yet more confidence in us as a first aid training provider.  We ensure that high quality first aid training is the priority in everything we do, and we want to ensure that you understand that.
