Medi-K Training joins the First Aid Training Co-operative

First Aid Training Co-operative (FATC) would like to announce an exciting new relationship with the Medi-K First Aid Training. It is with great pleasure that we can announce that Medi-K Training is joining forces with the First Aid Training Co-operative and we are looking forward to supporting the growth of first aid training in the equine sector.

Medi-K First Aid training courses for horse riders and the equine sector.

Medi-K Training has been highly successful and has grown over last seven years to be the UK’s leading first aid training provider for horse riders. The business led by Kay and Ian Patterson has reached a number of thresholds and the interruption in training due to the Covid pandemic has provided an opportunity to do a great deal of development work. As a member of the First Aid Training Co-operative the biggest development will be greatly improved administrative systems, making courses and course organisation run much more smoothly!

Medi-K Training first aid courses are the leading equine specific first aid course provider in the UK. Medi-K Training is the official First Aid training provider to Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS), Riding For the Disabled (RDA), The British Racing School (BRS) & Endurance GB among many others.

First Aid Training Co-operative (FATC) was founded specifically to support growing first aid companies by providing a central administrative and quality assurance systems. FATC is an ISO 9001 accredited organisation and will aim to improve Medi-Ks booking processes, certification, and access to digital first aid manuals.

We will be start face to face first aid courses again from the beginning of September and the Medi-K office reopens today. We are updating the website over the next week to keep you informed of new developments.

If you’d like to book a course, contact Lorna in the First Aid Training Co-operative office who will discuss your first aid course requirements with you.
