We’re excited to announce that Isabelle Hamilton-Bower, Clinical Lead at Resuscitation Council UK will present on The Science of CPR – Key Messages for First Aid Trainers at our FIRST AID CONFERENCE, 2024.
Isabelle has been a Clinical Lead at Resuscitation Council UK for over five years. Formally the Lead Nurse for Resuscitation Services in a large London teaching hospital, she is particularly interested in skills acquisition and education in emergency and critical care clinical practice. Isabelle was one of the co-authors who created the RCUK BLSi online training course to provide a national standard for the delivery of BLS training.
Isabelle works clinically as a member of the resuscitation team and teaches Trust staff vital lifesaving skills. She also monitors and works to improve patient care and outcomes. She feels she can practically contribute to saving lives and that healthcare should be available to everyone and is proud to be part of an organisation that provides healthcare to all irrespective of the ability to pay. She also values the opportunity to work with brilliant, caring, like-minded staff; and sharing knowledge and skills with people inside and outside the NHS.Â
We’re looking forward to hearing more about her work, the science behind resuscitation and the course she has created.
