Horse Rider First Aid Training – for free if you own or manage an arena, interested?
Medi-K and First Aid Training Co-operative are the UK’s leading provider of equestrian and horse rider first aid courses. We have been experiencing a high demand for equestrian first aid courses from individuals working in small liveries and riding clubs, as well as individual coaches and grooms.
For 2021 we are looking to partner with around 20 venues across the UK to run mainly 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work courses but also some 3-day First Aid at Work courses. Due to the social distancing requirements of Covid the training space needs to be large and indoor arenas are ideal for this purpose, although large conference rooms are also great.
The host venues will be able to put two staff on each course for free. For most host venues we would be looking to run 2 courses per year (spring and autumn) and develop a relationship where these courses become annual fixtures in the region. As a co-operative business, we value partnership working.
Medi-K ‘s dynamic training has an outstanding reputation throughout the Equestrian industry and Medi-K is the preferred provider for many organisations including the RDA, racing stables, equine vet practices, ABRS, BGA, Riding Clubs and Hunt groups.
What do we need from you?
A venue where we can regularly (twice a year, likely to be March and October) run a first aid course for up to 12 people. The training day is usually 9-5pm.
