We are delighted to announce that Liz Murray has confirmed she will be our specialist speaker on Lyme Disease. Liz is a Trustee with the Lyme Resource Centre (LRC). She is a visionary leader with a broad range of experience working in / with health care delivery, life sciences, pharma, devices, health consumer companies. She has worked in the public & private sectors in international and educational settings.
Liz worked in NHS for 15 years as a Physiotherapist and Senior Manager before moving across to commercial health sector, where she worked for a further 25 years until retiring earlier this year. She has a Masters in Business Administration and experience in marketing, customer experience and digital communications and helps the LRC with strategy, planning and strategic communications as well as some medium-longer term projects.
She will be giving us an update on the diagnosis, treatment and the spread of Lyme Disease and other tick-borne diseases and the crucial information we as first aid trainers need to get across to our clients.
Liz has a deep understanding of Lyme disease, having been diagnosed and treated with the condition after 6 years of symptoms.
