First Aid Training Cooperative’s digital first aid manuals provide clear and concise first aid guidance. Written by highly experienced first aid trainer Cory Jones with input from our expert team, our series of manuals provide a clear, straightforward guide to key first aid concepts, tailored to a range of specialist applications and sectors.
Why did we create a digital First Aid Manual?
As a sustainable cooperative business, we were well aware of the amount of paper used on first aid courses and in the production of manuals. When we set up the cooperative, we decided to do things differently and more sustainably. It therefore makes sense to have a digital version of the first aid manuals. Being a digital manual it is also easier to update without having to recycle old manuals and print hundreds of new ones. All of our courses are now paper free as well.
Our manuals can be downloaded to your mobile device so they are always close to hand when you need them. The approximate file size is around 2MB, much less than a mobile phone photograph. You can also print them off if you wish to share them in your workplace or at home.
In each manual, the emergency first aid topics are included such as adult, child and infant CPR, choking, assessing a casualty, the recovery position and bleeding and then topics specific to each sector are included.
Keeping your first aid skills refreshed:
The manuals are a great way to keep your skills refreshed. When something happens in the news or if you’re worried about a potential injury or accident, or have a friend that has a particular ilness or condition, you can quickly refer to the manual to remind you of the important procedures and protocols.
